Savannah and her surrounding communities
was cast upon by the RAIN demons which
literally 'unzipped' the skies upon us!!!..3
of us showed and I won the 'piggie' award
for the dirtiest MINI...however I soon will
be relinquished of THAT title!!!

MINI on a twistie racetrack..it's GRINNIN' time!!!..Phil Wicks Driving
Academy team was in town and the event was held at our very own
Roebling Road Racetrack!!!
...pics are a little 'backward'..but..you get
the idea..we gathered at my house and
motored to Roebling Road..where the
PW Event was...got in those precious
track laps we sooooo crave for..afterward
joined up with Middle Georgia MINI members
and chatted a bit before having to depart the
track!!..Believe me..a GREAT time was had
by ALL who attended!!!....Did you see the
1st pic..it's a Clubman going around..!!!...

What a FANTASTIC turn-out...and 'newbies' to boot...welcome to all our
newest 'members'..!!!...Weather a bit foggy early on...then we encountered
rain at the Wildlife Refuge...our adventures ended with a VERY warm but
pleasant sunny afternoon..!!!...Besides it gave our Cabrio members a chance
to go 'topless'..!!!...HOO..HOO...!!!....We gathered at our usual meeting
place for a cup of Java and much lively conversation..meeting/greeting and
even 'surprise' gifts for all...!!!.....Next the journey took us to the Wildlife
Refuge in South Carolina...where we travelled quietly on hard packed roads
above waterways teeming with Snowy Egrets...adult American Coots and
the ever present but somewhat elusive Aligators...I think our MINI 'convoy'
scared the latter away...!!!.....We stopped for a photo op..as you can see..
in a nice open grassy area...then with our appetites worked up...we headed
to a fave restaurant spot we had visited once before....WHAT did Murray
say...the "Chew & Choke"....noooo just kidding....Squat 'n Gobble...GREAT
food with a truly 'down home' atmosphere...!!!...GREAT TIME HAD BY ALL...!!!

MINI's..of course..!!!...I found this neat parking space at a new strip
mall...hard to tell...but the signs display..HYBRID VEHICLE PARKING ONLY..!!!
Then at my A.M. destination I actually found a HYBRID vehicle...how
coincidental is that..!!!....On my way home I found LY/W at the Pancake
House....then a EB/EB at the grocery store...and NO..I did not go to
work today...I actually shopped a competitor...ooohh..bad girl..!!!

I just had to stop and snap a photo op I spied the other day..!!!
The day turned out to be cold and drizzly..BUT..I managed to
drag myself away from the cozy warmth of home and out into
the bleakness that pervailed...was glad to see Murray came by
for coffee and we chatted for a bit about this and that...so it
was just us two for the monthly meeting this first Sunday in
December..!!!...We both hope that more MINI folks will join
us in the coming months...looking ahead for brighter prospects
in the New Year..!!!
